1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing the SORTAIC website (sortaic.com) or purchasing SORTAIC Pro, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our website or purchase our products.
2. Description of Service
SORTAIC is a Chrome browser extension that enables users to sort and export Threads posts by engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares). We offer:
- Free Version: Sort up to 25 posts or posts from the last 7 days
- Pro Version: Unlimited sorting, extended date ranges, and additional features
3. Purchases and Payment
3.1 Pro License Purchase
- Pro licenses are sold as one-time purchases
- Payment is processed through Systeme.io, our third-party payment processor
- Prices are displayed in USD and may vary by region
- All sales are final once the license key is delivered, subject to our Limited Refund Policy (Section 5)
3.2 License Delivery
- License keys are delivered via email to the address provided during purchase
- Delivery typically occurs within 5 minutes of payment confirmation
- You are responsible for providing a valid email address
- If you do not receive your license key within 24 hours, contact hellosortaic@gmail.com
3.3 Payment Methods
- We accept payment methods supported by Systeme.io (credit cards, debit cards, PayPal)
- By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method
4. License Terms
4.1 License Grant
Upon purchase, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use SORTAIC Pro for personal use.
4.2 License Restrictions
You may NOT:
- Share your license key with others
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense SORTAIC
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the extension
- Use SORTAIC for illegal purposes or in violation of Threads' Terms of Service
- Use automated systems to generate multiple license activations
4.3 License Validation
- License validation occurs automatically on extension startup and every 30 minutes during use
- Device fingerprinting is used to prevent unauthorized sharing
- No manual re-activation is required after updates
5. Limited Refund Policy - Technical Issues Only
Important: We offer a refund within 7 days of purchase ONLY if you experience technical issues that prevent SORTAIC Pro from functioning as described AND we are unable to resolve these issues.
5.1 7-Day Technical Issue Refund
Qualifying technical issues include:
- Extension fails to install or activate with a valid license key
- Extension crashes or causes browser crashes
- Core sorting functionality does not work on Threads.com
- License validation system fails repeatedly
Non-qualifying reasons (no refund):
- Change of mind or buyer's remorse
- Dissatisfaction with features (please try the free version first)
- Incompatibility with your specific browser setup (if not listed in our system requirements)
- Issues caused by Threads.com changes (beyond our control)
- User error or failure to follow instructions
5.2 Refund Request Process
To request a technical issue refund:
- Contact hellosortaic@gmail.com within 7 days of purchase
- Provide your license key and detailed description of the technical issue
- Work with our support team to attempt to resolve the issue
- If we cannot resolve the issue within 48 hours, we will process your refund
5.3 Refund Processing
- Refunds are processed within 7 business days of approval
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Your license key will be permanently deactivated upon refund
- No partial refunds are available
5.4 No Refunds After 7 Days
No refunds will be issued for any reason after 7 days from the date of purchase.
5.5 Pre-Purchase Evaluation
Before purchasing SORTAIC Pro, we strongly encourage you to:
- Try the free version to ensure compatibility with your system and browser
- Review the feature comparison on our website
- Verify your system meets our requirements
- Read user reviews and testimonials

5.6 Consumer Protection Rights
This refund policy does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws. If you are located in the EU, UK, or other jurisdictions with mandatory consumer protection laws, those rights may provide additional protections beyond this policy.
6. Account Termination and License Revocation
We reserve the right to revoke your license and terminate your access to SORTAIC Pro without refund if you:
- Violate these Terms and Conditions
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Share your license key with unauthorized users
- Use SORTAIC for illegal purposes
- Violate Threads' Terms of Service while using SORTAIC
- Abuse or attempt to exploit the refund policy
7. Intellectual Property Rights
7.1 Ownership
SORTAIC, including all code, design, trademarks, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.
7.2 Your Content
SORTAIC does not claim ownership of any posts, data, or content you sort or export using the extension. You retain all rights to your content.
7.3 Trademarks
"SORTAIC" and related logos are our trademarks. You may not use them without our written permission.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
SORTAIC IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Warranties that SORTAIC will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of data sorted by SORTAIC
We do not warrant that:
- SORTAIC will meet your specific requirements
- SORTAIC will be compatible with all devices or browsers
- Threads.com will not change in ways that affect SORTAIC's functionality
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for SORTAIC Pro (or $0 for free users)
- We are not responsible for data loss, business interruption, or loss of profits
This includes liability arising from:
- Use or inability to use SORTAIC
- Changes to Threads that affect SORTAIC
- Unauthorized access to your data
- Errors, bugs, or technical issues
10. Third-Party Services
10.1 Threads Platform
SORTAIC interacts with Threads (threads.com, threads.net), which is owned and operated by Meta. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta or Threads.
10.2 Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Systeme.io. We are not responsible for issues with payment processing.
10.3 Third-Party Terms
Your use of SORTAIC is also subject to:
- Threads' Terms of Service
- Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies
- Google Chrome Terms of Service
11. Updates and Changes
11.1 Software Updates
We may release updates to SORTAIC at any time. Updates may:
- Add new features
- Fix bugs
- Change existing functionality
License validation occurs automatically and no manual re-activation is required after updates.
11.2 Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of SORTAIC after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11.3 No Guarantee of Continued Service
We reserve the right to discontinue SORTAIC at any time, with or without notice, for any reason. In the event of discontinuation, no refunds will be provided except as required by applicable law.
12. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of SORTAIC is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using SORTAIC, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
13. User Obligations
You agree to:
- Use SORTAIC only for lawful purposes
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Comply with Threads' Terms of Service
- Not use SORTAIC to scrape data for commercial purposes without authorization
- Not overload or attempt to harm our servers or infrastructure
- Provide accurate information during purchase
- Not abuse the refund policy by making false claims of technical issues
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of SORTAIC
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Your violation of applicable laws
15. Dispute Resolution
15.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict of law principles.
15.2 Informal Resolution

15.3 Arbitration
Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules. You agree to waive your right to a jury trial.
15.4 Class Action Waiver
You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive the right to participate in class actions or class-wide arbitration.
15.5 Exceptions
These dispute resolution provisions do not apply to:
